Milestone Sessions with Northwest Arkansas Baby Photographer
Oh, sweet Andre. I can’t believe how much he’s grown since his newborn session—it feels like just yesterday I was carefully posing his tiny self, and now here he is sitting tall with the biggest personality!
For his sitter milestone, his mom picked chestnut brown and pecan brown backdrops. Those rich, earthy tones were the perfect complement to his features and really made his eyes stand out—especially with those eyelashes. Truly, his lashes deserve their own mention because they’re even more enviable than I remember from his newborn session. They frame his big, bright eyes so beautifully, making every expression pop even more.
Andre was full of joy during his session. He flashed me so many smiles and had the best time playing peek-a-boo. It’s always such a treat when little ones are naturally curious and playful—it makes capturing their personalities so easy. Towards the end, like most babies, he started to get a little tired and agitated, but all it took was a few fake sneezes and coughs from me to bring the smiles right back. His giggles were absolutely contagious!
These sitter sessions are some of my favorites because they capture such a fun in-between stage. Babies aren’t tiny newborns anymore, but they aren’t quite on the move either, which means we get those sweet rolls, gummy smiles, and curious personalities shining through.
Andre is already stealing hearts with those eyes and that personality, and I can’t wait to see him again for his one-year birthday milestone session. Watching babies grow and being able to document each stage is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
