Lesly’s Maternity Session: A Beautiful Farewell to My Tontitown Studio
Lesly’s maternity session will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the very last maternity session in my Tontitown studio before my big move to Cave Springs. And honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to close that chapter.
From the moment she walked in, Lesly was glowing with confidence. She was totally feeling herself the entire time—and I loved every second of it. Usually, I give a little more direction during sessions, but with Lesly, all I had to do was follow her lead. She came prepared with Pinterest inspiration and clear ideas of the poses and style she wanted. It made the entire shoot feel collaborative, creative, and effortless.
A Vision of Simple Luxury
When we first talked, Lesly told me she wanted her session to be “simple, yet luxurious.” She envisioned flowing silk and timeless florals, and that’s exactly the vibe we created together. The gowns, the delicate textures, and the soft movement of fabric wrapped around her belly brought her dream session to life.
Lesly described her style as happy, loving, and supportive—qualities that showed through in every single frame. She wasn’t afraid to show off her personality, laugh, and move with confidence, which gave us so much variety in her gallery. Even though we ended up running a little over time (oops!), it was absolutely worth it. Every extra minute gave us another stunning shot that reflects just how radiant she is during this season of life.
Why It Matters
For Lesly, photography is all about creating good memories that last a lifetime. And now, her maternity images will not only celebrate this chapter of motherhood but will also mark a special moment in my own photography journey—the closing of Tontitown and the beginning of Cave Springs.
Lesly, thank you for trusting me with your vision, your ideas, and your joy. You were an absolute dream to photograph, and I can’t wait to see these portraits displayed just as beautifully as the story they tell.
