Highlights of Henry’s Cave Springs Newborn Session

There’s something so special about those very first days of life—tiny fingers, soft little features, and that newborn snuggle that parents wish they could bottle up forever. Sweet Henry came into the studio at just 6 days new, and from the moment I met him, I knew his Cave Springs newborn session was going to be such a joy.

Family First

Like many newborns, he needed a little extra time at the beginning while we worked on family portraits. He was more interested in snuggling close to mom and dad than striking a pose (and honestly, who can blame him?). After a quick feeding break, though, he completely melted into my hands and was a dream to pose.

A Dream Session

Once he was full and content, Henry breezed through the rest of his session. In fact, he made things so easy for us that we were able to finish everything an entire hour ahead of schedule! That doesn’t happen very often in the world of newborn photography, but it’s always such a treat when it does.

Capturing the Tiny Details

I loved capturing the way he curled up so naturally, those sweet little expressions, and the way he looked so peaceful in every pose. Sessions like Henry’s are a beautiful reminder of how fleeting this stage is—babies truly change by the day in these early weeks.
